embossing
The embossing technique consists of creating a relief on the surface of the fabric by applying heat and pressure to a matrix or mold that has a texture or design in relief.
To carry out textile embossing, the fabric is placed on a printing table with the mold on top and heat and pressure are applied using a press. The embossed mold presses on the tissue and heats it sufficiently to create a permanent mark on the surface of the tissue.
